Summary

Andersen is looking for a QA Mobile Engineer to support the testing of a new Flutter-based banking app built on a scalable microservices architecture, ensuring high performance, smooth updates, and reliable feature delivery.

The customer is a major retail bank with a long-standing presence in its national market, serving millions of clients through a wide range of consumer lending, deposit, card, and digital banking services. Known for its strong focus on innovation and accessibility, the organization continues to expand its branch network and invest in advanced technologies to enhance customer experience and support sustainable growth.

The project is focused on developing a new mobile application built with Flutter and powered by a microservices architecture. The solution aims to deliver a high-performance, scalable, and modular app that enables rapid feature development, seamless updates, and efficient integration with multiple backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in task planning together with the business customer.
  • Analyzing technical requirements before testing and consulting with the analyst to clarify all details.
  • Performing testing of software products.
  • Creating documentation required for functional testing.
  • Regularly updating test documentation.
  • Analyzing results obtained during test execution.
  • Controlling the process of defect resolution by software developers.
  • Creating test plans, test cases, and checklists in the test management system and preparing test execution reports.
  • Conducting acceptance testing together with the business customer.
  • Mentoring and sharing knowledge with engineers.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Mobile QA Engineer for 2+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of general software testing principles, methods, and best practices.
  • Experience organizing and executing different levels of testing, from unit to acceptance testing.
  • Ability to create and maintain test cases for new functionality, document reproduction steps for defects, update test scenarios, manage bug reports, track fixes, and maintain documentation.
  • Experience working with bug tracking systems.
  • Experience working with a test management system.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Confident understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of automation testing fundamentals.
  • Experience using Postman and SoapUI.
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
