Andersen is hiring a Software Architect to build and support a secure on-premise infrastructure for a government digital platform, ensuring privacy, reliability, and system integration.
The customer is a large public-sector organization operating at the federal level, responsible for supporting executive decision-making, coordinating strategic initiatives, and overseeing nationwide programs. The organization plays a key role in shaping long-term development priorities and collaborates with multiple government entities and international partners. It invests in digital transformation, data-driven solutions, and advanced technologies to modernize processes, improve efficiency, and build scalable, secure platforms for mission-critical services.
The project is focused on designing and implementing a fully on-premise architecture for a hunting application, ensuring high data privacy, offline functionality, and tight integration with the customer’s existing IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- Defining and maintaining Software Architecture based on approved Architectural Drivers and business requirements.
- Designing application-layer architecture aligned with the client’s on-premise zoning model (External / DMZ / Internal).
- Producing and maintaining architectural artifacts: Architecture Vision, solution diagrams, interaction schemes, sequence diagrams.
- Defining integration patterns for external and internal systems (UAE Pass, IAM, messaging, BI, maps).
- Ensuring security-by-design at application level: RBAC, least privilege, secure APIs, data flows.
- Validating that implementation follows architectural decisions during development.
- Providing architectural guidance to developers and clarifying technical decisions.
- Identifying architectural risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Supporting testing, performance validation, and architectural compliance reviews.
- Updating architectural documentation as the solution evolves.
Requirements
- Experience in software architecture or senior engineering roles for 7+ years.
- Strong background in enterprise application architecture
- Proven experience with on-premise enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of security architecture in regulated / government systems.
- Hands-on experience with C# / .NET application architecture.
- Experience designing API-based integrations and service interactions.
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts (OIDC, MFA, RBAC).
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
