Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst to help replace a legacy trading back-office with a modern, scalable platform, improving performance, compliance, and operational efficiency for a major financial services provider.

The customer is a leading publicly listed financial services company in the Middle East, operating under strict regulatory supervision and combining a strong financial foundation with a modern trading infrastructure. The organization focuses on innovation, sustainable growth, and regional market leadership, acting as a key liquidity provider for major listed enterprises and supporting the stability of a national stock exchange. It also develops advanced mobile investment solutions and actively invests in social and healthcare initiatives as part of its corporate responsibility strategy.

The project is focused on replacing an outdated trading back-office system with a modern, scalable, and compliant platform to eliminate performance limitations, accelerate feature delivery, and improve overall reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Setting priorities for functional requirements collection and introducing best practices in business analysis and product ownership, including methodologies and documentation template.
  • Assisting with feature prioritization and roadmap creation.
  • Creating Business Requirements Documents.
  • Conducting communications with vendors of COTS back-office trading solutions.
  • Participating in requirements gathering and discussions with third-party providers.
  • Working on functional and non-functional requirement mappings for third-party solutions.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience as a Business Analyst for 2+ years.
  • Strong experience in the trading domain, with the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in trading processes.
  • Solid knowledge of asset management and hands-on experience with general ledger, treasury and cash management, reconciliation, post-trade processes, and Delivery versus Payment (DvP).
  • Strong experience participating in the Discovery phase, including requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment.
  • Level of English – Intermediate+ or above.
