Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) to build an integrated retail platform with customer profiles, account portals, and multi-provider payments, improving performance and user experience.
The customer is a company specializing in high-performance digital solutions. It offers services such as full-stack development, speed optimization, AI strategy, and composable commerce. The company has completed over 100 successful digital transformations for industry leaders. It has revolutionized digital commerce with their API-first, microservices-driven architecture.
The project is focused on building an integrated platform that combines customer profile management for retail associates, a customer account portal with order management, and a payment processing solution with multiple provider integrations to streamline operations and improve customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Developing features for customer-facing and internal retail applications, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and new functionality.
- Writing clean, reusable code with a focus on performance, testing, and maintainability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, and QA, to deliver front-end solutions aligned with business goals.
- Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS).
- Integrating with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Working on payment provider integrations and checkout flows.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in collaboration with support teams.
- Maintaining project documentation and tracking progress using Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- Experience in front-end development for 2,5+ years.
- Expertise in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in REST API integration and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive/mobile-first design.
- Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience with enterprise ERP or commerce platform integrations.
- Knowledge of middleware and API orchestration platforms.
- Experience with payment gateway integrations.
- Familiarity with CRM system integrations.
- Exposure to headless CMS or composable commerce architectures.
