Data Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Data Engineer to implement a secure Azure-based data warehouse, automating data integration, transformation, and reporting to improve data quality and governance for healthcare solutions.

The customer is a global company providing sustainable healthcare access solutions. With extensive experience, it develops tailored programs to ensure patients receive necessary treatments, offering services such as financial assistance, remote care, and market access consulting. The company collaborates with healthcare stakeholders to create effective, long-term solutions.

The project is focused on implementing a secure and scalable Azure-based data warehouse. It aims to automate data integration, transformation, and reporting, ensuring seamless data flow from PMS and SAP into Azure SQL Database, while improving data quality and governance.

Responsibilities

• Building and configuring ADF pipelines for ingestion from PMS and SAP.
• Implementing incremental loads / CDC, validation, reconciliation, and logging.
• Developing staging schemas and SQL stored procedures for transformation.
• Implementing deterministic data masking, residency-aware logic.
• Performing historical data migration and setting up automated incremental routines.
• Optimizing performance (partitioning, indexing, query tuning).
• Building SQL views for Power BI consumption.
• Supporting Data Architect in DWH schema implementation.
• Configuring ADF monitoring, alerts, and failure recovery logic.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Engineer for 4+ years.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server/T-SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT workload optimization.
• Experience building ingestion for SAP.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Working knowledge of healthcare or regulated data.
• Experience building ingestion for PMS.
