DevOps / Cloud Engineer (India)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and scale cloud platforms embedding insurance services, ensuring reliable integrations and high-quality solutions on a global scale.

The customer is a large international organization operating in the insurance and risk protection domain, providing a wide range of services for both individual and corporate clients. The customer has a strong global presence, delivers diversified insurance solutions across multiple lines of business, and is known for its mature operational model, financial stability, and well-established expertise in service delivery and claims management.

The project is focused on building scalable digital platforms that embed insurance services into partner ecosystems, enabling fast integration and seamless experiences. The team advances a global integration platform, delivering reliable, high-quality solutions at cloud scale.

Responsibilities

• Designing and operating Azure cloud architectures to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Administering and maintaining AKS (Kubernetes) clusters in production environments.
• Implementing and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Designing and maintaining high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Managing autoscaling and capacity planning to support growing workloads.
• Ensuring production-grade platform reliability, stability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles for 6+ years.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, networking, and App Services.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Proven experience using Terraform in real production environments.
• Experience operating and supporting production systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of Docker and the container ecosystem.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with database operations, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals and best practices.
