Summary

Andersen is seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape intuitive web experiences for a travel management platform, translating business needs into clear user flows, modern interfaces, and scalable product design.

The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.

The project is centered on designing and evolving a web-based travel management platform that supports itinerary creation, booking management, and supplier collaboration. The focus is on translating user and business needs into intuitive user flows, interfaces, and product experiences that enhance how travel professionals manage and grow their operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying user needs, exploring and prototype solutions, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape as part of the discovery process.
  • Working closely with your trifecta (UX, product and development teams) and stakeholders to develop solutions to new problems while bringing consistency, simplicity, and ease-of-use to the experience of our products.
  • Delivering high-quality visual design across your features, ensuring clarity, consistency, and craftsmanship.
  • Documenting detailed interaction models and UI specifications.
  • Collaborating with other designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across all our platforms and promote the best UI practices to other designers, engineers, and product owners.
  • Balancing business goals with user needs when designing solutions, ensuring that your solutions drive an impact on both.

Requirements

  • Experience in UX design for 4+ years.
  • Well-curated online portfolio that highlights your UX design experience and design thinking.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end product design experience from discovery and concept development through delivery and post-launch optimization.
  • Strong UX and visual design skills, with proven end-to-end design experience and the ability to leverage and expand upon an existing design system.
  • Proven the ability to build trust, accept and provide feedback, across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience delivering design solutions in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces with the ability to iterate fast.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate ideas, provide context and direction to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Practical experience leveraging AI tools to enhance research, ideation, prototyping, or visual design workflows.
  • Understanding HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations.
  • Ability to define and track UX KPIs and success metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously optimize outcomes.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Prior experience working in the travel industry or designing tools for B2B platforms.
  • Experience working on B2B tools and strong systems thinking.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline).
