Business Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst to support the development of a Data Warehouse solution for a major financial institution, automating regulatory and management reporting with reliable, analytics-ready data.

The customer is one of the oldest and most reliable financial institutions in Kazakhstan. It offers a full range of financial services for both individual and corporate clients, including business lending, mortgages, consumer loans, deposits, payment services, and digital banking solutions. The company focuses on reliability, innovation, and sustainable growth, helping clients achieve their financial goals and contributing to the country’s economic development.

The project is focused on developing a Data Warehouse solution to automate the generation of regulatory and management reporting, ensuring accurate, complete business requirements and reliable data for analytics and ongoing monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing business requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Documenting requirements for reports, dashboards, and business logic.
• Defining data quality management (DQM) requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Aligning architecture and business processes for data integration.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis within the financial domain for 5+ years.
• Experience working with banking systems (e.g., Colvir core banking system, CRM).
• Experience with data management and data warehouse (DWH) projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial and banking processes.
• Experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and Excel.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods, and experience with business analysis methodologies (BPMN, UML).
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and the requirements of the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK).
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
