Business Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst to support development of Anti-Financial Crime solutions, defining requirements and collaborating with product, compliance, and IT teams in a banking environment.

The customer is an organization operating in the technology and consulting domain, supporting businesses with the implementation of digital initiatives and process improvements. The company delivers a range of services related to software solutions, system enhancements, and advisory support, helping clients adapt to evolving technological landscapes through flexible engagement approaches and scalable delivery models.

The project is focused on supporting the development of Anti-Financial Crime solutions within a banking environment. It involves analyzing business needs, defining clear system requirements, and collaborating with product, compliance, and IT teams to deliver effective and compliant technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Collaborating with stakeholders including Product Owners, users, Compliance, and IT.
• Supporting initiatives related to AML, KYC, Sanctions, and Fraud systems.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery processes.
• Managing requirement clarifications, maintaining documentation, and supporting testing activities.
• Contributing to development and optimization of Anti Financial Crime platforms.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry for 3+ years.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, Sanctions, or Fraud domains.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to produce structured documentation and clear specifications.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Previous involvement in Anti Financial Crime system development initiatives
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
