Information Security Specialist (Lithuania)

Summary

Andersen is hiring an Information Security Specialist in Lithuania to strengthen security practices and ensure compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments and supporting audits in a technology-driven environment.

The customer is an organization operating in the technology and consulting domain, supporting businesses with the implementation of digital initiatives and process improvements. The company delivers a range of services related to software solutions, system enhancements, and advisory support, helping clients adapt to evolving technological landscapes through flexible engagement approaches and scalable delivery models.

The project is focused on strengthening information security and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and national cybersecurity requirements. It includes conducting risk assessments, preparing for audits, and identifying regulatory gaps to align organizational practices with security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regulatory gap assessments against NIS2, DORA, ISO/IEC 27001, and national cybersecurity regulations.
• Performing risk assessments using ARSIS methodology, identifying and documenting information security risks.
• Supporting audit readiness activities, including preparing documentation, evidence collection, and control mapping.
• Implementing and maintaining information security controls aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Interpreting and applying national cybersecurity legislation and NCSC security requirements in organizational processes.
• Developing and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to remediate compliance gaps and improve security posture.
• Supporting internal and external audits, responding to auditor requests and providing required security evidence.
• Monitoring compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards across projects and organizational units.
• Maintaining risk registers, compliance documentation, and remediation tracking in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Collaborating with technical and business teams to implement security improvements and risk mitigation measures.
• Providing security guidance and awareness to stakeholders regarding regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in Information security for 3+ years.
• Proven experience with NIS2, DORA, and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Lithuanian cybersecurity legislation (e.g., Cybersecurity Law, Information Resources Management Law, and related regulations).
• Ability to interpret and apply national security/audit requirements in practice.
• Experience with audit preparation and security controls implementation.
• Strong collaboration skills, experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint Fluent Lithuanian highly preferred.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security tools (Defender, Intune, Sentinel).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
