The project is focused on integrating OneShield into the client’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment with existing systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining automated tests and frameworks using Java, Playwright, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Designing and executing end-to-end, integration, and regression test scenarios for platform features and business workflows.
• Validating new features, APIs (REST/SOAP), and system integrations.
• Collaborating with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Participating in test planning, test design, and Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives).
• Investigating, reproducing, and reporting defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and supporting build and release processes.
• Performing exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve product quality.
• Analyzing test results and providing insights on quality, risks, and system stability.
• Continuously improving test automation coverage and QA processes.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 4+ years.
• Strong experience with Java test automation.
• Experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end testing.
• Experience using Cucumber for BDD test development.
• Experience with API testing.
• Understanding of the shift-left approach.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience working with OneShield insurance platform.
• Exposure to insurance domain systems (policy administration, underwriting, claims).
• Experience testing enterprise platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience with test automation in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
• Understanding of microservices architectures and integration testing.
