Andersen is hiring a Junior Helpdesk Engineer to provide first-line support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user access, and ensure reliable IT operations and user assistance.

Responsibilities
- Providing first-line technical support to users.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues on user devices.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Managing user accounts, access rights, and permissions (e.g., Active Directory).
- Supporting common business applications (MS Office, email clients, VPN, etc.).
- Logging, tracking, and resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes (account setup, equipment provisioning).
- Maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience as a Helpdesk / Technical Support Engineer or in a similar role for 1+ years.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS / Linux OS.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and access control.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Level of German – from Pre-Intermediate and above.
