Andersen is seeking a Project Manager for a project enhancing a travel web platform, improving functionality, performance, and overall user experience.
The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.
The project is focused on enhancing an existing web platform in the travel services domain for the North American market, improving functionality, performance, and overall user experience.
The position assumes 12 to 21 CET work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Applying Agile principles in estimation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and team facilitation.
- Ensuring consistency and quality of Jira tickets, and maintaining project trackers, dashboards, and Confluence documentation (including risks and decisions).
- Monitoring team capacity, sprint velocity, and progress toward sprint goals.
- Coordinating day-to-day project activities, resources, and team communication.
- Providing regular status updates on milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Collaborating with Product Owners to prioritize backlog, align scope, and plan releases.
- Working with cross-functional teams to identify and remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
- Coaching team members, Team Leads, and Product Owners on Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
- Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and problem-solving.
- Leading retrospectives and driving process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and delivery.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager for 3+ years.
- Hands-on experience working with SAFe.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies with hands-on experience facilitating ceremonies.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile tracking tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders across Business, Delivery, and IT.
- Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong understanding of release management processes and risk mitigation.
- Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Experience coaching teams to higher Scrum maturity levels.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Certification SAFe (or being ready to obtain that certification as soon as possible).
- Previous experience in software development or quality assurance.
