Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer in Almaty to ensure software quality, testing efficiency, and reliable product delivery across international digital projects in multiple industries.

The project is focused on developing a next-generation business banking mobile application based on microservices architecture. It includes building new features, integrating modern technologies, and preparing the migration of corporate clients from the legacy platform to the new solution.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing requirements and identifying potential risks at early stages.
• Preparing and maintaining test documentation: test cases, checklists, and test scenarios.
• Performing functionality, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Detecting, documenting, and tracking defects in a bug-tracking system.
• Verifying fixes and performing retesting after changes.
• Testing APIs, working with logs, and using databases for data validation.
• Participating in sprint planning, task estimation, and release activities.
• Collaborating with developers, analysts, and other team members.
• Ensuring product quality and completeness of test coverage.
• Contributing to improvements in QA processes and internal team standards.
• Supporting and mentoring junior/middle QA specialists.

Requirements

• Experience for 3+ years.
• Experience participating in banking or fintech projects.
• Knowledge of testing types and methodologies with a focus on mobile testing.
• Understanding of test documentation types (test plan, test strategy).
• Knowledge of DBMS and SQL.
• Knowledge of REST API, HTTP/HTTPS, XML/JSON.
• English level – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in building testing processes from scratch.
• Any experience in test automation of native applications.
• Knowledge of Swift / Kotlin.
