Full Stack QA Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack QA Engineer for a project developing digital mobility solutions and ensuring the quality and reliability of scalable platforms.

The customer is an international mobility service provider offering a peer-to-peer model that allows users to negotiate travel conditions directly within the app. With a large global user base and operations spanning numerous cities worldwide, the organization is recognized for its focus on flexibility, accessibility, and the adaptation of its platform to diverse market environments.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing digital mobility solutions that connect users through a scalable platform. It includes building reliable, high-performance services and improving the overall experience across transportation and mobility-related products.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining test cases / test suites for product features.
• Participating in agile practices (discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning, demos).
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for APIs and mobile UI (iOS and Android). Implement shift-left testing practices.
• Building and maintaining test frameworks and tools for QA engineers, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure the reliability of testing infrastructure.
• Working with TechOps and other teams to implement quality management processes and improve testing workflows.
• Investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with backend and mobile developers to prevent regressions.
• Tracking quality metrics in Jira/Tableau, automate routine tasks. Advocate for testability. Mentor QA team members.

Requirements

• Experience as a Full-Stack QA Engineer for 4+ years.
• Experience in Mobile Testing (iOS & Android) for 3+ years.
• Recent hands-on experience with both functional and automated testing.
• Proficiency in API testing (Postman or similar), database operations (CRUD), and basic command-line tools (bash/zsh).
• Proficiency in mobile testing (iOS and Android, including emulators, traffic sniffing, and OS-specific testing).
• Proficiency in Kotlin (or, alternatively, strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms, client-server architecture, and network protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and test management practices. Ability to read and reason about backend and frontend code to pinpoint defects accurately.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, testing, and code review workflows
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with contract testing (Pact) or visual regression testing for mobile.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based device farms (BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
