QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Testing existing and new product functionality, including API, integration, and functional testing.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating test documentation.
• Testing APIs using Postman and Swagger, and analyzing network traffic with sniffing tools such as Charles Proxy.
• Applying test design techniques to optimize test coverage.
• Writing SQL queries to prepare test data and validate backend functionality.
• Working with bug tracking systems (Jira), reporting defects, tracking their status, and verifying fixes.
• Participating in requirements analysis and refining user stories.
• Estimating testing efforts and breaking down testing tasks within Agile processes.
• Using Chrome DevTools for UI debugging and testing.
• Performing cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in Manual Quality Assurance for 5+ years.
• Strong experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Experience working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams.
• Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP protocols.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• French language proficiency.

Desired skills

• Experience with test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Experience testing mobile applications.
