Andersen is hiring a Python Developer in Germany for a project improving system monitoring, operational transparency, and data-driven process optimization.

Our customer is a large infrastructure organization focused on operating and enhancing complex, business-critical systems. The company invests in digital technologies, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and decision-making across large-scale processes. With a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement, it develops scalable technology capabilities that support long-term organizational growth and evolving operational needs.

The project is focused on improving the transparency, monitoring, and analysis of internal system operations. Delivered as a consulting and engineering engagement, it aims to optimize operational processes, enhance system visibility, and support data-driven decision-making without becoming part of the client's internal organization.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and enhancing dashboards and visualization tools.
• Implementing monitoring mechanisms and alerting systems.
• Building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines (including incremental loading).
• Developing data processing components and analytical outputs.
• Implementing anomaly detection logic and reporting solutions.
• Generating structured reports (Word/PDF).
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Performing runtime troubleshooting and system optimization.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to improve transparency and operational processes.

Requirements

• Strong Python backend development (Python 3.11+) for 5+ years.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with dashboards and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Logging, monitoring, and alerting implementation experience.
• Report generation (Word/PDF).
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Readiness for Python 3.13.
• Experience with anomaly detection techniques.
• Experience with React + FastAPI stack.
• Experience in energy or utilities domain.
• Advanced CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Performance optimization experience.
