Flutter Developer (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Summary

The IT company Andersen is hiring a Flutter Developer to work on-site in Abu Dhabi on a digital transformation project developing secure, scalable, and user-centric public sector solutions.

The customer is a public-sector organization responsible for advancing digital innovation and modernizing services across multiple domains. It supports strategic initiatives in emerging technologies, collaborates with industry and research partners, and develops long-term technology frameworks for improving operational efficiency and service accessibility. The organization focuses on secure, scalable, and sustainable digital development to drive continuous improvement within the broader ecosystem.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
• Leading architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and best coding practices.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and responsive interfaces.
• Optimizing app performance and troubleshooting issues to enhance user experience.
• Integrating third-party services, APIs, and native SDKs as required.
• Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code while maintaining proper documentation.
• Conducting code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality.
• Staying updated with Flutter, Dart, and mobile development trends, adopting best practices.
• Working closely with backend developers, product managers, and QA teams for seamless delivery.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Flutter and Dart, with a proven track record of delivering production-ready apps for 5+ years.
• Solid understanding of state management solutions like Riverpod, Provider, Bloc, or GetX.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and other backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
