System Analyst (with German)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a System Analyst with German for a project modernizing OSS systems and designing a scalable architecture for telecommunications operations and digital services.

Our customer is a telecommunications and digital services provider delivering connectivity and communication solutions for residential, business, and institutional customers. It focuses on providing reliable digital services, expanding its technology capabilities, and continuously improving customer experience through infrastructure development, innovation, and modern communication technologies.

The project is focused on transforming a legacy OSS landscape by defining a future target architecture and technical foundation. It aims to modernize systems supporting partner orders, field operations, ticketing, provisioning, monitoring, technical data management, and operational process control.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current legacy/custom OSS systems and their responsibilities.
• Supporting reverse engineering of legacy systems based on interviews, available documentation and system walkthroughs.
• Building system dependency maps.
• Building integration and interface inventory.
• Identifying interface directions, ownership, protocols and dependencies.
• Analyzing data ownership across OSS/BSS and external systems.
• Supporting current-state architecture documentation.
• Supporting gap analysis between current and target states.
• Supporting integration requirements for the technical tender package.
• Working with the Data / Integration Architect on target integration patterns and middleware assessment.
• Working with Business Analysts to connect process steps to systems and data objects.

Requirements

• Strong system analysis experience for 3+ years.
• Telecom experience.
• Experience in OSS/BSS or complex enterprise integration environments.
• Experience analyzing legacy/custom systems.
• Experience with interface inventories, API analysis and data-flow mapping.
• Understanding of provisioning, ticketing, monitoring and operational systems.
• Ability to work with low documentation maturity.
• Ability to structure technical findings for architects, business analysts and client stakeholders.
• Experience documenting system dependencies and integration landscapes.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Certifications.
• Knowledge of APIs, SOAP, REST, webhooks, file-based integrations, middleware or service bus.
• Experience with provisioning backends such as DHCP, RADIUS, ACS/TR-069, SIP platforms or similar.
• Understanding of data ownership and master data management.
