About the event
Andersen is launching a series of workshops for architects to exchange practical knowledge and real project experience.
The first workshop will explore how to unlock the real value of data through robust architecture, moving beyond buzzwords to practical case studies from Andersen’s projects. We’ll look at the reasoning behind choosing a Data Lakehouse, a classic DWH, or a hybrid model, as well as discuss the pitfalls and trade-offs met along the way. Join us to connect with peers and bring your own cases for an open discussion during the networking session!
Agenda:
- Words of welcome and introduction;
- Speaker’s talk: “Top Three Case Studies in Designing Data-Driven Solutions” by Rinat Gazikhanov;
- Q&A session;
- Networking: Exchange of knowledge and practical experience;
- Closing remarks.
The event will be interesting for:
Experienced software engineers and architects, engineering managers, and senior developers, as well as tech leads, development managers, and IT service owners who have grown from technical backgrounds and are eager to exchange hands-on expertise and architectural insights.

Rinat Gazikhanov
Data Architect at Andersen
Top Three Case Studies in Designing Data-Driven Solutions
About the topic
In the modern world, data is often called the "new oil," but its real value is only unlocked through robust architecture. Moving beyond buzzwords, this topic is built on practical case studies from Andersen's experience in designing solutions where data is the core driver. The main focus is on the architectural decision-making process: why a Data Lakehouse was chosen in one case, a classic DWH in another, and a hybrid model in a third. The analysis includes an honest look at how the choice of a particular stack was made and the non-obvious pitfalls and compromises faced during the implementation phase.
About the speaker
For over 15 years, Rinat has specialized in turning data infrastructure into a strategic asset. He operates as an architect who bridges the two worlds of software development and data management, designing long-term blueprints for scalable, fault-tolerant data ecosystems. As a Data Architect at Andersen, his expertise is not just in building solutions but also in governing them – defining the critical rules for data quality, security, and integrity that make data trustworthy and available.
