The international IT company Andersen invites a QA Automation Engineer (Python) to work on a large-scale project for one of our Germany customers.
The customer is a global leader in delivering high-tech facilities for semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and advanced manufacturing, utilizing their proprietary platform for engineering execution and business-critical integrations.
The project is a large-scale .NET-based enterprise system requiring module exploration, and backend optimization.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining test cases for system modules and workflows.
- Validating defects from historical logs and confirming fix efficiency.
- Writing and executing automated scripts using Selenium / Tosca.
- Performing database validation with SQL queries.
- Testing REST/OData APIs using Postman.
- Contributing to UAT sessions and documentation reviews.
- Collaborating closely with the teams on defect triage and fix verification.
Requirements
- Experience as a QA Automation Engineer (Python) for 3+ years.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing using Selenium or Tosca.
- Ability to write and maintain scripts in Python.
- Strong experience auto testing, especially for enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with testing APIs using Postman.
- Proficiency in SQL, including joins, data validation, and test data setup.
- Experience working with defect logs, regression testing, and edge case analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and collaboration skills.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Experience in manual testing.
