Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a Python Developer in the UAE to join its team for working with our UAE partners.

The customer is a leading UAE-based technology company specializing in geospatial technologies, cybersecurity, and AI. With over 245 professionals, they provide expert services to government and private clients, including mapping, surveying, and GIS.

The project involves developing and maintaining software for testing aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with aviation standards, and providing automated diagnostics, with a focus on backend development using Python.

This position requires onsite work in the UAE, Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating the existing ELT testing system.
  • Implementing new features and ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality code.
  • Monitoring system health and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Participating in CI/CD processes and contributing to DevOps automation.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Python Developer for 4+ years.
  • Proficiency in Python and Django.
  • Experience with Celery.
  • Familiarity with Docker.
  • Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.
  • Understanding of RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and performance metrics tools such as Prometheus / Grafana.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience with Java and Kotlin.
