Andersen is hiring a Lead Frontend Developer (React) for a U.S.-based project with a global travel payment provider. The role involves building a modern payment platform to optimize merchant operations.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s airlines. The network consists of major airlines that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of merchants around the world for air, rail, cruise and travel agency payments.
The project is a payment technology that will enhance the efficiency and profitability of merchant payment operations through a comprehensive, airline-centric payment platform.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining responsive and high-performance user interfaces for payment-related products and dashboards.
- Building intuitive and secure merchant dashboards, reconciliation views, and UI components for payment flows (e.g., tokenization, smart routing).
- Integrating frontend interfaces with payment APIs and services, ensuring seamless support for multiple payment methods and PSPs (Payment Service Providers).
- Ensuring the frontend complies with industry regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and PSD2.
- Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and design teams to implement omnichannel payment experiences.
- Creating robust UI flows that handle failover mechanisms, fraud alerts, risk evaluations, and loyalty program integration.
- Ensuring accessibility, usability, and responsiveness across platforms and browsers.
- Participating in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous UI optimization.
Requirements
- Experience in frontend development using React for 4+ years.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Experience working with a comprehensive set of payment functions: credit card payments, AFP, tokenization, risk tools, smart routing, and failover capabilities.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel integration and payment ecosystem architecture.
- Experience integrating and maintaining solutions across multiple PSPs and payment methods.
- Familiarity with merchant dashboards, payment reconciliation processes, and data flow optimization in payment pipelines.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, GDPR, and PSD2.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Proficiency with tools such as Redux/Context, REST/GraphQL APIs, and frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

- Knowledge of AML and KYC regulations.
