Andersen invites a Backend Developer (Node.js) for a Media & Telecom project. The role involves modernizing backend systems, migrating Strapi to v5, and updating the architecture to an NX Monorepo for a leading telecom provider.
The customer is a telecommunications pioneer that offers a wide range of voice, data, broadband, and digital solutions for both individual and corporate clients. The company actively drives innovation, including 4G LTE and 5G, and contributes to the country’s digital transformation in collaboration with government entities and the private sector. Beyond core services, the company is deeply engaged in corporate social responsibility, supporting initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and sports.
The project centers on modernizing an existing backend system, with a key focus on migrating Strapi to version 5 and aligning the architecture with an upgraded NX Monorepo.
Responsibilities
- Migrating Strapi CMS to v5 using a safe and controlled approach.
- Refactoring backend services for compatibility with the latest NX.
- Preserving and enhancing unit testing and code quality standards.
- Aligning backend architecture with centralized versioning strategy.
- Supporting infrastructure and authentication enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development for 3+ years.
- Strong Node.js expertise.
- Experience working with Strapi CMS (v4, v5 migration preferred).
- API design and integration skills.
- Familiarity with monorepo architecture (NX).
- Knowledge of unit testing, linting, and quality control tools.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and versioning strategies.
- Understanding of Agile software delivery practices.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
