DevOps Engineer (Azure)

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced DevOps Engineer (Azure) to work on large-scale projects for Europe, the US, and other English-speaking countries.

The technology stack: Linux, Azure, Ansible, CI/CD(Gitlab, Github Actions, Azure Pipelines, CircleCI, Jenkins), Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleSQL).

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or other tools, enabling consistent and scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Overseeing environment management (Dev, QA, Staging, Production) to ensure consistent configurations across all stages.
• Driving application deployment processes using Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.
• Preparing and maintaining clear documentation and operational best practices.
• Conducting research on new tools and services, and quickly becoming proficient in evaluating or integrating them as needed.
• Identifying and solving challenges related to system performance, availability, and scalability.
• Contributing to cost optimization efforts by monitoring cloud spend and recommending improvements.
• Participating in internal consulting, competency building, and peer code/infrastructure reviews.

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer for 4-5+ years in Azure cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps methodologies, practices, and principles.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, containers and other cloud native tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices (CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi, etc).
• Experience with one or more monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Scripting knowledge, no matter Bash, Python, or other scripting language.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes with Jenkins, Gitlab or other tools.
• Knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Azure certifications.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+.
