The IT company Andersen invites a QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our Canadian partners.
The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of 2,200+ travel experts.
The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.
The position requires 13:00 - 22:00 CET working schedule.
Responsibilities
- Designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases for RESTful APIs.
- Using Postman to validate endpoints, parameters, and responses.
- Writing and running SQL queries to verify data integrity and backend operations.
- Collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
- Logging, tracking, and managing defects using tools like JIRA.
- Contributing to functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Experience as a QA Engineer for 2+ years with a focus on API testing.
- Hands-on experience using Postman for testing REST APIs.
- Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of HTTP, status codes, JSON formats.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
