The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Flutter Developer for a large-scale project with a U.S. AI-driven language learning startup.

The customer is a fast-growing U.S.-based startup operating in the field of AI-powered language learning. With a global user base across more than 100 countries, the organization focuses on providing affordable, personalized education through realistic avatar-led conversations. It leverages cutting-edge generative AI to deliver real-time feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and fluency. The team is composed of engineers, designers, and education specialists dedicated to making language fluency accessible to learners worldwide.

The project centers on developing and scaling a mobile-first application that enables users to engage in immersive, scenario-based conversations with AI avatars.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining well-structured, modular Flutter applications.
• Setting up and maintaining dependency injection for scalable code.
• Implementing and maintaining robust test coverage.
• Collaborating with backend and cross-functional teams.
• Optimizing performance and debugging UI/UX issues.
• Conducting code reviews and contributing technical documentation.
• Staying current with Flutter trends and integrating best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on Flutter development experience for 3+ years.
• Solid understanding of MVVM & Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency in using dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Provider, GetIt, Riverpod).
• Strong testing skills: unit, widget, and integration testing.
• Experience working with REST APIs and websockets.
• Skilled in creating animations (Lottie, flutter_animate).
• Excellent problem-solving ability and independence.
• Passion for EdTech and early-stage product development.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+.

Desired skills

• Hands-on experience with media streaming (audio/video handling, recording, background modes, PiP).
• Experience with GetX for state management.
• Familiarity with Unity3D integration in Flutter.
• Knowledge of code generation techniques.
• Native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Obj-C) experience.
