Summary

The IT-company Andersen invites an experienced Project Manager to work on an internal large-scale project.

Andersen is a European pre-IPO IT company uniting over 3,500 top-class professionals: developers, architects, testers, analysts, and other specialists. The project is focused on developing a company portal that stores information about all employees. It serves as an automated system for conducting performance evaluations and provides a convenient tool for quick access to employee data across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, prioritizing, and updating the backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Organizing sprint planning, breaking down tasks, and estimating workloads.
  • Monitoring the team's commitment fulfillment within the iteration.
  • Conducting Daily Standups and synchronizing the work of developers, testers, and designers.
  • Identifying and removing blockers, helping the team stay focused on sprint goals.
  • Motivating the team, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a healthy team atmosphere.
  • Conducting retrospectives and collecting feedback from the team.
  • Analyzing metrics (velocity, lead time, burndown charts) and suggesting process improvements.
  • Escalating risks (delays, technical debt, lack of resources) with solution proposals.
  • Demonstrating sprint results (Sprint Review).
  • Forecasting delays and adjusting plans when requirements change.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager for 2+ years.
  • Experience working with Scrum/Kanban, including sprint planning, backlog management, and prioritization.
  • Risk management skills and the ability to resolve blockers.
  • Understanding of efficiency metrics (velocity, lead time, cycle time) and the ability to use them for process improvement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team and foster an atmosphere of trust and engagement.
  • Conflict resolution skills and effective communication with developers, testers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Practical experience in running retrospectives with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in conditions of uncertainty and quickly adapt processes to changing requirements.
  • Readiness to experiment with approaches (hybrid methodologies, custom Scrum).
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
