Junior QA Automation Engineer (C#) in the EU

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Junior QA Automation Engineer (C#) in the EU for a large-scale project with a German tech leader. The role involves testing a chatbot integrated with Microsoft Teams to enhance user experience and productivity through AI support.

The customer is a German company, one of the leading global developers of innovative technologies. The company works with all big names in the automotive industry (Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bosch, Bugatti, Chrysler, Fiat, Volkswagen, Ford, Honda, Mercedes-Benz) and the research sector. And it is involved from initial conceptualization to real-life road testing.

The project is the development of a chatbot integrated into the client’s application within Microsoft Teams. It functions as a web app powered by ChatGPT, designed to assist users through conversational interactions, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity directly within the Teams environment.

Responsibilities

• Creating and executing automated and manual tests to verify the functionality, performance, and security of the software.
• Writing scripts for automated tests using appropriate tools and programming languages
• Detecting, documenting, and tracking defects and issues in the software, ensuring they are fixed before the product release.
• Working closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and ensure the software meets specifications.

Requirements

• Experience in QA for 6+ months.
• Experience in programming languages such as C#.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, NuGet.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge (and experience) in Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, regression, load, security, API).
• Experience with test management tools like Jira and TestRail.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
