Summary

Andersen is hiring an Android Developer in Krakow for a major FinTech project. The role involves developing digital banking solutions and new lending features to improve customer experience.

The customer is a global fintech company, serving over 150 financial institutions worldwide. It offers an AI-powered engagement banking platform that streamlines digital sales and service across all banking segments. With 2,000+ employees and a strong focus on R&D, the company helps banks modernize operations and deliver personalized, customer-centric experiences.

The project is in the field of retail banking and focuses on delivering digital solutions to enhance banking services. It involves the development of new lending products and features aimed at improving customer experience and expanding the bank’s digital offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining new and existing features for the Android application.
  • Prototyping, concept validation, and implementation of technical improvements.
  • Building modular, testable, and scalable application components following modern Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI).
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Conducting unit and integration testing, ensuring code quality and application stability.
  • Supporting CI/CD workflows and contributing to library/module management processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in Android client application development for 3+ years.
  • Commercial development experience with Kotlin and Java.
  • Familiarity with Android Architecture Components, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack Navigation.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK and REST principles.
  • Experience with Koin for dependency injection.
  • Proficiency with architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, or MVI).
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).
  • Practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Knowledge of library publishing processes.
  • Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
