Project/Delivery Manager

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Project/Delivery Manager for a telecom project in Kazakhstan. The role focuses on BSS transformation and managing the RFP process to support operational and IT modernization.

The project is focused on supporting the client in the strategic transformation of its BSS system, including the preparation and execution of a full-cycle RFP process to select a new vendor. The goal is to enhance business flexibility, optimize operational processes, and modernize the IT landscape through a structured and expert-driven vendor selection approach.

Responsibilities

• Organizing interview schedules, participating in key sessions, and gathering feedback.
• Supporting coordination between the architect and the client.
• Monitoring the status of architectural data delivery.
• Ensuring alignment on the format and structure of the Terms of Reference (ToR).
• Controlling the timely receipt of input data.
• Preparing evaluation matrices.
• Communicating with vendors: deadlines, formats, and documentation requirements.
• Monitoring incoming materials and identifying deviations.
• Preparing the schedule for demo sessions, handling logistics, and managing content.
• Facilitating meetings and tracking organizational risks.
• Coordinating parallel work streams between analysts and architects.
• Organizing internal reviews and approvals with the client.
• Ensuring collaboration between analysts and the client’s finance team.
• Supporting the finalization of TCO models.
• Synchronizing internal and external legal teams, collecting documentation, and incorporating legal risks into final conclusions.
• Preparing the structure of presentations, leading final sessions, and supporting decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for 5+ years.
• Experience as a Project Manager in the telecom industry for 3+ years.
• Successful delivery of projects in IT consulting, system integration, and business transformation.
• Ability to manage multi-stream projects (analytics, architecture, legal).
• Facilitation skills and stakeholder management.
• Experience preparing C-level reports and executive presentations.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience working in RFP and pre-sale phases, including client expectation management.
• Experience organizing collaboration with vendors, as well as internal and external teams.
