Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a project with a Saudi Arabian insurance company. The role involves supporting the development of a Super App that integrates insurance services and lifestyle features.

The customer is a leading Saudi Arabian insurance provider operating as a joint-stock company. It offers a broad portfolio of general and specialized insurance services tailored to both individuals and corporate clients. With a strong focus on digital transformation and customer experience, the company has implemented advanced technologies including AI-driven platforms and multi-channel support systems.

The project is the development of a Super App designed to serve as a single digital gateway for all insurance needs, combining policy management, lifestyle services, and personalized engagement in one platform. Built natively on OutSystems and Oracle Cloud, the app aims to deliver seamless, mobile-first experiences for motorists, homeowners, and travelers.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
  • Building and deploying automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
  • Managing our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.
  • Implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Securing, scaling, and managing Linux virtual environments.
  • Developing and maintaining solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
  • Continuously evaluating existing systems with industry standards and making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in software development, systems engineering, or a similar role for 2+ years.
  • Experience in Linux administration for 2+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • An ability to drive to goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to details.
  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
