Python Developer (in the EU)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Python Developer in the EU for a project with a German tech leader. The role focuses on developing a plugin to enhance platform functionality and user experience.

The customer is a German company, one of the leading global developers of innovative technologies. The company works with all big names in the automotive industry (Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bosch, Bugatti, Chrysler, Fiat, Volkswagen, Ford, Honda, Mercedes-Benz) and the research sector. And it is involved from initial conceptualization to real-life road testing.

The project is the development of a Codebeamer plugin aimed at extending the platform’s functionality and enhancing user experience. It focuses on delivering robust, maintainable features that integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, supporting the customer’s operational and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable applications using Python.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs to support various functionalities.
• Integrating Azure Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Utilizing Keycloak for authentication and authorization processes.
• Monitoring system performance and reliability using Prometheus.
• Deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Optimizing application performance using Uvicorn.
• Manipulating and analyzing data with Pandas to support business needs.
• Collaborating with team members to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application performance and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Python Developer for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in data manipulation using Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with server management using Unicorn.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and Azure DB management.
• Familiarity with Azure EntraID for identity and access management.
• Knowledge of Keycloak for identity and access management solutions.
• Understanding of Prometheus for monitoring and Grafana for visualization.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
