Services Nearshore Backend Engineer (Poland)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Services Nearshore Backend Engineer in Poland to work on a large-scale FinTech project.

The customer is a market leader in delivering software products to banks, with development centers located in Poland, the Netherlands, the UK, and etc. The company develops microservices that are used to assemble solutions for more than 120 financial institutions, such as Uniqa, ING, Deutsche Bank, and others.

The project is developing new directions in banking solutions (financial operations, reporting), implementing and customizing them on the side of external clients.

Responsibilities

• Seamlessly integrate the platform into customers' systems, focusing on back-end implementation.
• Provide solid technical solutions to complex issues.
• Help deliver the best customer experience and reinforce the company reputation.
• Respond to reported issues vigorously and solve complex problems.
• Analyze current codes and industry developments using programming languages and tools.
• Formulate efficient processes to solve problems.
• Create a seamless experience for millions of users globally.
• Coach a team of developers on the client and partner side.
• Provide training to those working with the Customer’s platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues from multiple cultures as part of the project team.

Requirements

• Experience in backend development for 3+ years.
• Proven experience in Java development, with a strong command of Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of integration patterns and frameworks such as Apache Camel or Spring Integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures and web technologies.
• Experience in Agile software development, with the ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring developers on client or partner teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to take ownership and deliver results.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to multicultural environments.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
