Summary

Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (C#) for a Swiss company. The project focuses on turbochargers and digital solutions to enhance engine efficiency and cut emissions.

The customer is a global leader in high-power turbocharging, fuel injection systems, and digital solutions for heavy-duty industries such as marine, power generation, rail, and off-highway. With over 100 years of engineering expertise, the company designs and services advanced turbocharging technologies that enhance engine performance and reduce emissions. It operates in more than 50 countries through a network of over 100 service stations and offers round-the-clock global support.

The project is focused on developing turbochargers and digital solutions to boost engine efficiency and reduce emissions. It delivers insights into marine engine performance, emissions, and hull efficiency, with development driven by agile methods and early user feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participating in all Scrum ceremonies, including Grooming, Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives with the Scrum team as required.
  • Engaging in the validation of sites/apps at various stages, such as pre-release and post-release, under different platform/network conditions.
  • Conducting testing using diverse strategies.
  • Documenting and sharing discovered bugs with team.
  • Gradually automating high-priority test cases for integration with the CI/CD pipeline for sustained efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in QA domain, focusing on web applications, for 4+ years.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin language for developing and understanding test cases/scripts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Test Management tools like Q-Test, HP ALM, and Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence.
  • Proactiveness, the ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and ownership at the product level to identify and report bugs, regardless of feature development stages.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or comparable experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning in QA.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
