Full Stack Developer (Python/TypeScript/Angular)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Python/TypeScript/Angular) with German for a project enhancing GIS and CAFM software, optimizing infrastructure management, and driving scalability and digitalization.

The customer is a German provider of GIS and CAFM solutions with over 30 years of experience, supporting public and private clients across Europe. Its services cover system integration, data management, consulting, and training, with applications in environment, energy, infrastructure, and facility management. As an Esri Gold Partner and Red Dot Award winner, the customer is recognized for innovation and reliability in delivering digital solutions.

The project is focused on improving GIS and CAFM software to optimize infrastructure and land management, reduce paperwork, support digitalization, and ensure scalability and long-term efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Django (backend) and Angular (frontend).
• Implementing RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
• Writing clean, efficient, and testable code in Python and TypeScript.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring responsiveness across devices and browsers.
• Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and tech stack.
• Ensuring security best practices are followed in both frontend and backend development.

Requirements

• Experience in software development for 3+ years.
• Proficient in Python/Django for backend development.
• Experience in TypeScript and Angular, including component architecture, reactive forms, and state management.
• Skilled in REST API design and integration.
• Solid understanding of databases, CI/CD, and testing practices.
• Experience writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in agile teams and fast-paced environments.
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – Upper-Intermediate and above.
