Frontend Developer (React)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (React) to join a Cypriot iGaming project. The role includes improving an internal Payment Gateway by adding new providers and optimizing workflows.

The customer is a leading B2B casino and sportsbook platform provider, renowned for its branded gamification engine that enhances player engagement across casino and sports domains. With over 60 brands and licenses in multiple jurisdictions, it offers a universal suite of products and services.

The project is focused on enhancing an internal Payment Gateway by integrating new providers, improving workflows, and strengthening tools for managing payments.

Responsibilities

• Developing a complex Payment Gateway platform using ReactJS and Typescript.
• Writing high-quality, scalable, testable, and high-performant code.
• Participating in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Potentially leading assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
• Providing technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
• Performing code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in web development for 4+ years.
• Commercial experience with ReactJS for 3+ years.
• Proficiency with Typescript.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and test runner frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Clear understanding of SOLID/GRASP principles, client-side architecture, and design patterns.
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.
• Exceptional learning skills, problem-solving, and ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding and extensive experience with tools like Git, npm, Webpack, Babel, and Linters.
• Level of Russian - from Intermediate plus and above.
• Level of English – from Intermediate plus and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in working with MUI framework.
• Experience in working with TypeScript AST and writing code modifiers.
• Experience with GitLab CI.
• Experience with Figma, CSS, Pixel-perfect.
• Experience in working with Docker, K8S, NGINX, and NodeJS.
• Strong product eye & understanding of typical web UX.
