Summary

Andersen is hiring a Project Manager in the EU to enhance a business-critical SaaS platform for insurance analytics, coordinating the team and improving delivery processes.

The customer is a global professional services company specializing in consulting, risk management, and business solutions. The project is centered around a business-critical SaaS solution used by clients for real-time insurance calculations, modeling, and actuarial analytics. It involves maintaining and enhancing the platform to ensure reliability and performance. The focus is on coordinating a technical team, improving delivery processes, and supporting ongoing development without deep technical involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Driving communication and alignment with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency of progress, risks, and delivery outcomes.
  • Providing regular status and risk reports, maintaining visibility across multiple related teams and workstreams.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of commitments within agreed scope, resources, and timelines, with a focus on quarterly and long-term planning (PI objectives).
  • Managing team backlog in Azure DevOps – refining, prioritizing, and tracking progress across features, stories, and test plans.
  • Collaborating with the DevOps Lead and technical teams to align backlog priorities with business goals and platform evolution.
  • Facilitating cross-team dependency management, ensuring synchronization of roadmaps, milestones, and release plans.
  • Supporting and continuously improving Agile delivery processes (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) to enhance predictability and efficiency.
  • Monitoring delivery metrics, building analytical dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Coordinating monthly and quarterly release planning in a continuous delivery environment, ensuring stability and compliance with SLAs.
  • Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring platform delivery aligns with strategic and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in SaaS or infrastructure-related projects for 4+ years.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and hands-on experience managing team backlogs, dependencies, and PI objectives.
  • Proven ability to align goals, roadmaps, and milestones across multiple teams, ensuring timely delivery within agreed timelines and SLAs.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and a foundational understanding of Azure Services.
  • Strong stakeholder management, risk management, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills, capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stream environment.
  • Experience managing mixed workloads: from regulatory/governance requests to incident handling.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Previous experience working closely with DevOps/SRE teams.
