Backend Developer (.NET+PHP)

Summary

Andersen is looking for a Backend Developer (.NET+PHP) for a Dutch SaaS company. The role is focused on developing a multitenant platform that supports digital solutions in healthcare and childcare.

The customer is a well-established Dutch software company providing comprehensive SaaS solutions tailored for the healthcare and childcare industries. Trusted by over 800 care organizations and used by thousands of professionals, their solutions help streamline administrative processes, reduce workloads, and improve the overall quality of care. With several offices across the Netherlands and a team of approximately 450 specialists, the customer is committed to supporting care providers with technology that enhances efficiency, flexibility, and human connection.

The project is focused on building a new multitenancy fabric platform to support healthcare and childcare professionals in delivering better care through innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Working with MongoDB in production environments, including indexing and aggregation optimization.
• Implementing new features and improving existing system functionality.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient C# / PHP code.
• Collaborating with the team on code reviews, architecture decisions, and technical design.
• Working with Git and participating in CI/CD workflows.
• Troubleshooting performance issues and ensuring system scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Experience in backend development for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of C# (.NET 6/7).
• Practical development experience with PHP.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB in production environments (indexing, aggregation pipelines, performance tuning).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience writing Unit and Integration tests.
