The IT company Andersen invites a DevOps On-Prem Engineer to support a unified monitoring platform for power infrastructure. The role focuses on enabling proactive fault prevention through smart-sensor data, centralized insights, and efficient maintenance workflows.
The customer is a technology company that develops advanced early-fault detection solutions for power infrastructure, enabling energy providers to prevent outages and mitigate fire risks through real-time monitoring and precise diagnostics. Its systems combine high-accuracy fault localization, remote analytics, and visualization tools to support proactive maintenance and improve network reliability.
The project is based on developing a unified system that consolidates all data related to monitoring and maintaining critical power infrastructure. The solution integrates inputs from advanced smart sensors to provide clear visibility into potential electrical faults, enabling proactive prevention of unplanned outages. It centralizes information for faster access, improved decision-making, and more efficient maintenance workflows.
Responsibilities
- Building a robust on-premise solution as an alternative to the existing AWS-based system.
- Designing and implementing sizing, hardware setup, observability, security, and maintainability solutions.
Requirements
- Еxperience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering for 5+ years.
- Proven experience working with on-premise infrastructure and solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
