Frontend Developer (Angular)

Summary

Andersen is looking for a Frontend Developer (Angular) in Krakov to integrate and extend a major digital banking platform. The role includes building custom frontend solutions and supporting high-priority client implementations.

The customer is a leading provider of digital solutions for the financial industry, offering a scalable platform used by institutions worldwide. With multiple development centers and strong industry recognition, the company delivers modular technology that enhances digital engagement and supports modern banking experiences.

The project is focused on seamlessly integrating the Backbase platform into customers’ systems and enhancing it with tailored frontend solutions. Working within a cross-functional Customer Success team, you will handle both development and high-pressure, time-sensitive support tasks. The goal is to deliver a flawless, customer-specific implementation, acting as the primary frontend expert throughout the integration and extension of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Integrating the Backbase platform into customer systems and building tailored frontend solutions on top of it.
• Delivering high-quality, modern frontend experiences using advanced UI/UX patterns, including motion design and animations.
• Writing clean, maintainable code while quickly gaining in-depth knowledge of product requirements and company standards.
• Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to communicate vision, share ideas, and drive innovation.
• Working closely with the R&D department to support new product development, propose modern features, and signal customer demand.
• Traveling occasionally to customer locations for on-site implementation activities when required.

Requirements

• Experience as an Angular Developer for 3+ years.
• Experience in frontend and backend development using modern web technologies for 3+ years.
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript (Angular / AngularJS), RxJS, CSS (SASS), and HTML.
• Experience working with non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Comfortable working with modern web technologies and keeping technical knowledge up to date.
• Willingness and ability to work with Bootstrap.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in the banking domain or fintech products.
• Experience with microservices, cloud environments, and Apache Tomcat or Netflix OSS.
• Strong understanding of Java, Maven, CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with relational databases and Spring JPA / Hibernate.
