Backend Developer (Node.js)

Summary

Andersen seeks a Backend Developer (Node.js) to build and evolve high-load streaming and ticketing platforms, working with senior engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

The customer is a large international organization delivering live events and premium digital content to a global audience. It operates its own multi-platform streaming service, manages high-load ticketing and access control systems, and supports complex on-site operations with strict reliability and security requirements. The company is actively modernizing its hybrid cloud infrastructure and data platforms to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.

The project is focused on leading the design and delivery of complex software solutions in close collaboration with the Tech Lead and senior in-house engineers, ensuring technical excellence and strong alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Defining technical roadmap and making key architectural decisions.
• Overseeing end-to-end delivery of critical features and systems.
• Guiding and supporting junior engineers, fostering best practices.
• Partnering with product and design teams to shape solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in backend development for 3+ years.
• Expert in scalable systems, performance optimization, and modern frameworks (TypeScript and Node.js).
• Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend development patterns.
• Basic to intermediate experience with CI/CD.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket/Git.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver assigned tasks.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
