Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) to build and support scalable backend solutions for global projects across multiple industries, contributing to high-quality digital products in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining backend services using the .NET platform.
  • Designing and implementing RESTful / Web APIs.
  • Participating in backend architecture design and technical decision-making.
  • Working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Integrating with external systems and third-party APIs.
  • Ensuring application security, performance, and scalability.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Creating and maintaining unit and integration tests.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to code quality improvements.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing solutions.
  • Using version control systems (Git) in daily development.
  • Collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, estimations, retrospectives).
  • Supporting and maintaining applications in production.

Requirements

  • Experience as a .NET Developer for 2+ years.
  • Experience with Azure.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency in building and deploying containerized applications using Docker.
  • Understanding of SQL Server and database principles.
  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture and design.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
  • Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience with front-end development (React or Angular).
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
