Andersen is hiring an Android Developer to build and enhance mobile applications for global clients across FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, and other industries, working on full-cycle digital solutions in international teams.

Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Implementing new features and improving existing functionality.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Ensuring application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
- Identifying and fixing bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks.
- Writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Keeping up to date with Android platform updates, tools, and industry trends.
- Maintaining technical documentation related to development processes and solutions.
Requirements
- Experience as a Android Developer for 2+ years.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin; basic knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Understanding of Android application architecture (MVVM, MVP).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with common Android libraries and frameworks (Jetpack components).
- Basic understanding of multithreading, coroutines, and background processing.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of UI development using XML and Material Design guidelines.
- Basic experience with unit testing and UI testing.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
- Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
