Java Developer (with German language)

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Implementing business logic, RESTful APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participating in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Developing and executing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
• Collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver features.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Maintaining technical documentation and supporting applications in production environments.

Requirements

• Commercial development experience as a Java Developer for 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL DB.
• Confident knowledge and experience with microservice architecture.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technology.
• Experience with Kafka.
