Junior Backend Developer (Laravel) in Tashkent

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Junior Backend Developer (Laravel) in Tashkent to work on digital banking solutions, supporting payments, account management, payroll features, and core backend functionality.

The customer is a financial services organization delivering digital solutions for individuals and businesses, focused on payments, account management, and online service delivery with an emphasis on usability and technology-driven development.

The project is focused on developing and supporting digital banking functionality, including account management, payroll processing, salary project support, and payment creation.

Technology stack: PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Git.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the development and enhancement of the Remote Banking Services (RBS) microservice (digital banking functionality: working with different types of accounts, generating payroll statements, processing payments, and supporting payroll-related features) under the guidance of senior developers.
• Developing and maintaining REST APIs for integration with other services and system modules.
• Working with databases, including writing and refining SQL queries and assisting in their optimization.
• Implementing new functionality and fixing bugs in existing backend code using Laravel.
• Participating in code reviews and discussing technical solutions within the team.
• Creating and updating basic technical documentation for the implemented features.
• Following coding standards and internal technical guidelines of the project.

Requirements

• Experience as a Backend Developer for 6 months.
• Commercial experience in developing server-side logic using PHP.
• Experience with Laravel for building and maintaining web applications.
• Confident working experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience in building, configuring, and running applications using Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in development or production environments.
• Ability to work with code using Git version control systems.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
