Andersen is hiring a Solution Architect in the EU to lead migration of a complex medical platform to hybrid cloud, defining standards, guiding strategy, and ensuring continuity of critical workflows.
The customer the is an international medical technology provider focused on innovative imaging and AI-driven diagnostic support solutions. The company develops integrated hardware, software, and digital services that help healthcare professionals enhance accuracy, streamline clinical workflows, and improve early detection practices across global markets.
The project is focused on defining and guiding the evolution of a complex software platform from an on-premises environment to a hybrid cloud-based architecture. The team drives architectural standards, migration strategy, and cross-team alignment to ensure a smooth transition without disrupting critical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Designing the end-to-end hybrid system architecture.
- Defining modular boundaries, APIs, and data ownership.
- Shaping the migration roadmap from on-prem to cloud, guidance and coordination with development teams (cloud, application, infrastructure).
- Aligning product, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Supporting architecture documentation and decision making.
Requirements
- Experience in solution architecture for 10+ years.
- Hands-on experience with software systems architecture definition: attribute-driven design, C4, non-functional requirements and solution design formalisms.
- Hands-on experience and a Solution Architect certificate from AWS.
- Strong background in hybrid cloud systems and distributed architectures.
- Experience with offline-capable applications or edge computing.
- Healthcare / medical software experience highly preferred.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
