Site Reliability Engineer (Automation/Development Focus)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (Automation/Development Focus) to improve reliability, automation, and scalability of cloud platforms powering global partner integrations.

The customer is a well-established global organization providing financial protection and risk-management services across various markets. With a diverse portfolio and teams operating in multiple regions, the company supports businesses and individuals through reliable, scalable solutions.

The project is focused on building and evolving scalable digital platforms that enable seamless integration of insurance products into partners’ ecosystems. The team drives innovation of a global integration solution, delivering high-quality services with cloud-scale performance and fast time to market.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building automation tools and internal platforms.
• Implementing self-healing mechanisms that detect and remediate failures automatically.
• Writing “glue code” integrating monitoring signals with remediation actions.
• Eliminating repetitive manual operational work.
• Debugging and fixing complex system-level issues.
• Collaborating with SRE and Platform teams to improve reliability through code.

Requirements

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (Automation/Development focus) in application support and reliability engineering environments for 6+ years.
• Strong background as a Senior Software Engineer (not limited to operations).
• Excellent coding skills in Python.
• Experience building production-grade tools and services.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and typical failure modes.
• Experience integrating automation with monitoring and alerting systems.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, event-driven architectures, and queues.
• Confident usage of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud experience required – Azure.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Solid knowledge of C# / .NET.
