Andersen is seeking a Frontend Developer (Angular) to work on evolving travel platforms, improving booking and business workflows, and delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions across integrated systems.
The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.
The project is centered on the evolution of a suite of interconnected travel platforms that support booking, CRM, finance, and supplier content management. These systems enable advisors and internal teams to manage itineraries, transactions, and partner data efficiently while ensuring seamless integration and real-time collaboration across the ecosystem.
The position assumes 12 to 21 CET work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining Angular components and modules for scalable web applications.
- Integrating with RESTful APIs in close collaboration with backend (.NET) developers.
- Optimizing UI for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Using modern Angular features (e.g., standalone components, reactive forms, RxJS, lazy loading).
- Writing clean, maintainable code following best practices (SOLID, DRY, separation of concerns).
- Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.
- Collaborating with QA engineers to ensure testable and robust components.
- Contributing to CI/CD workflows and version control processes (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
Requirements
- Experience in frontend development using Angular (v12+) for 2+ years.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
- Understanding of Angular component lifecycle, @Input/@Output, and two-way binding.
- Confidence in identifying and refactoring legacy code and modernizing architecture.
- Experience working with component-based Angular architecture and decoupling approaches.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, Postman, and handling JSON data.
- Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments.
- Understanding of authentication flows (e.g., JWT), Redis caching.
- Basic experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, or Karma).
- Exposure to complex UI elements such as charting, pagination, or dynamic layouts.
- Interest in backend technologies (C#, .NET, SQL) for full-stack collaboration.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
