Andersen is hiring an IAM Specialist to develop and enhance an enterprise Identity & Access Management ecosystem, ensuring secure integration across HR and IT systems.
The customer is an international engineering company developing and manufacturing advanced production and packaging equipment for regulated industries. It provides end-to-end solutions, from product development support to fully automated turnkey lines, with expertise in precision dosing, material processing, and automated assembly, while ensuring long-term service and technical support.
The project is focused on the development, operation, and continuous enhancement of an enterprise-wide Identity & Access Management (IAM) ecosystem tightly integrated with HR and IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- Developing, operating, and enhancing Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, with a strong focus on automated and rule‑based rights assignments.
- Integrating SAP SuccessFactors, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, and Nexis Secure using REST APIs and standardized IAM workflows.
- Maintaining and administering role models, including business roles, technical roles, and AD group structures, ensuring consistency across systems.
- Managing and continuously improving joiners, movers, and leaver (JML) processes, ensuring secure and efficient user lifecycle management.
- Supporting IAM-related data management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data and authorization information across HR and IT systems.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues, including delays in provisioning and inconsistent legacy configurations.
- Collaborating with HR, IT, and cross‑functional departments to design, refine, and implement authorization and data‑flow processes.
- Driving modernization efforts, improving existing IAM workflows, reducing manual effort through automation, and enhancing end‑to‑end provisioning processes.
- Taking ownership of system integrations, ensuring stable and reliable data flows between HR master data, IAM tools, and target systems.
- Contributing to enterprise‑wide IAM architecture decisions, focusing on simplification, standardization, and scalability.
Requirements
- Experience in Identity & Access Management for 3+ years.
- A mid‑ to senior‑level Identity & Access Management specialist with strong technical orientation and experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a similar IT‑focused qualification; alternatively, relevant vocational training combined with practical experience.
- Solid hands‑on experience with Okta, Nexis Secure, Azure AD/Entra ID, Active Directory, and SAP SuccessFactors (or similar) as the HR master system.
- Strong understanding of REST API‑based integrations and the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize system interfaces.
- Familiarity with role‑based access control (RBAC), including the design and maintenance of business and technical role models.
- Experience in identity lifecycle management, including JML processes and cross‑system provisioning.
- Comfortable working with data structures, data flows, and HR‑to‑IT master data processing, especially in IAM‑relevant contexts.
- Technical mindset with the ability to perform configurations and basic scripting where necessary.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
- German language is highly desirable.
